I wanted to express my sincere thanks for your most insightful experience at Bindu on Friday Evenings workshop. From the moment I left I haven’t been able to educate myself fast enough of Astrology. I’m absolutely intriqued. You helped me understand, and more importantly, opened up a new world for me to better understand myself and how and why I feel and act the way I do.

thank you for your affirmation of my ongoing process of life. June 1st headed to Amsterdam. as I left behind the jungle of Mexico and re-connected with the bigger world of Houston airport, immigration officers, thousands of busy travelers, a layover in Philly, meeting amazing people, looking out the hotel window and thinking:wow, from this perspective there are so many opportunities, it’s time to shift my consciousness and take part in this world. There is so much one could comment on here, I could go on and on. I’ll try not to do that. First, let me say that this post cracked me up because it is so relatable. Second, like you, I tend to be obsessed with my washing machine and I cannot imagine having to go without it for long. I will defend you if anyone accuses you of having been a little depressed, crazed, unkind, or otherwise out of sorts whilst this extreme deprivation was in your life. (Unlike you, I’m not so much into the bleach. I’m more into eucalyptus oil.)

So, I’m record with just how much I can relate. And that was before yesterday. Driving back from a professional meeting, I noticed that my car door sounded rattley. (That’s womanpspeak.) That was it. I didn’t think too much about it, though I thought it might be related to the screw I found I thought came out of the door. When I got home, the door wouldn’t close. Panic! All the screws holding in the latching mechanism were gone and the latching mechanism had dropped down. Door wouldn’t close and visions of depleted battery hit my consciousness.

I called my mechanic to no avail. I called a good friend. She came right over. (Yes, female friends are far more reliable than mechanics.) We found a screw next to the car. I found the other one. The third was gone to car heaven. I used a screw driver to pull up the locking mechanism and put the screws back in. But when I closed the door . . . it wouldn’t open again. I turned to my friend Gretchen and said, “I am so screwed!”

She did what any good friend would do. She gave me a hug. I did what any woman worth her salt would do and got in the front passenger’s side, crawled over the gear shift area and tried the driver’s side door from the inside. It opened!

Well, I could go on. I’ve got a broken door and god knows when I’ll hear from my mechanic. At least I have my dearly departed husband’s old truck to drive in the meantime.

But I have to say that this is one of the odder problems I’ve ever had with a car. And it makes me mutter, “Why? Why? Why?” and then . . . “Why not?”

Oh thank god, now I have a reason why I am so tired! I too want to go to sleep when I get back from work and sleep for 12 hours! Plus I am a loony moon maiden (Cancerian) so can I say I would be extra tired from full moons? Think I can call into work and say, “wont be in today, full moon is just exhausting me!” LOL

Well, hello Sistah Astrologer, I couldn’t agree more with all of your comments here, not the least of which is that I adore Craig Ferguson!! LOL. Yes, those who try to tamper with ancient sciences will probably get some type of karmic bit from whichever planet is lined up to deliver it in their own charts!

Let’s see if I can get this straight. Are you saying that Sarah Palin is one of these new-fangled sexy terrans? Maybe she’s the reason all those sexy avians are dropping out of the sky – they’re masochists panting for her rifle and her helicopter blades, like. Why not hook them up with sexy terran Craig Ferguson instead? He’s from the U.K. and no doubt carries an umbrella. Much less painful.

Well I’ll be blessed! I had no idea there was another sign brewing. Says who?! I’m with you Cindy… let ‘em make up whatever they want and tell us we’re all wrong… it don’ make no nevermind to me. I’ve been practicing knowing my inner signs, which sorta trumps everything else. I’m also right with you about that fun Scot, “Sir” Craig! {;> I’m a night owl and see him a lot, but I missed the sexaterrian conversation. Thanks for the fun writings.
